Healthcare Professionals
Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide and Personal Care Attendant
If you are an experienced Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Attendant, your specialty is working with young adults to provide the care they need to thrive – while also giving parents useful information and guidance. As a Health Care Professional on the Apex Social program, you will have the opportunity to use your work experience to benefit the children of your host family.
Many of our host families have a young adult daughter/son and are looking for an extra set of capable, professional hands with direct experience in this area. Additionally, as 90% of our host families have children with special needs, it is not uncommon for some families to look for a Care Professional with experience assisting with young adults’ activities of daily living.
