Talent Development Specialist
Apex Social brings together experienced educators, therapists and care providers with families who have special care needs and provides personal & career development through a unique, collaborative work experience for care professionals.

- Empowering Schools & Universities by providing career coaching and support for their students and alumni to gain interdisciplinary paid work experience &
continuing education in Germany, the United States, and Australia.
The Talent Development Specialist is responsible for creating a talent pool of qualified and motivated candidates with backgrounds in education, human development, pediatric therapy, or healthcare. The Talent Development Specialist will generate leads in a variety of ways, schedule and conduct a series of interviews with qualified candidates, and build a relationship of trust as a mentor introducing them to the unique experiential learning and work opportunities at Apex Social.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with the Academic Partnership team to attract students to Apex Social
- Generate leads by placing job advertisements, joining relevant interest groups, building a network of like-minded young professionals, attending career fairs, and engaging on social media and job boards.
- Conduct virtual interviews and select qualified candidates who are aligned with Apex core competencies and mission and have the right skills and experience.
- Connect with the community of American Care Professionals to promote referrals and engagement.
- Experience and understanding of the target audience of students or recent graduates in education, human development, pediatric therapy, or healthcare.
- Previous recruiting experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven ability to work as a team player and a self-starter who can work independently, take initiative and meet deadlines promptly.
- Must be able to work in a virtual environment via telecommuting over high-speed internet access in a quiet and protected workspace free from background noise such that the performance of duties is done most professionally.
