Going on basketball games with my Host Family and watching the sunset with other Care Professionals!
I learned how to live in a new culture and be more independent. I will definitely do an internship in a school, just to see how they are working in a different country. I got to do a really fun English class and will go on a weekend class too, to have the opportunity to see more cities!

I had my most special moment when traveling to the Outer Banks. We were sitting by the water watching the sunset & it felt so calming. I learned a lot about myself and my strengths and weaknesses. I volunteer at the local dog shelter every week. Walking the dogs and cuddling them is the best thing ever!

I’m very happy that I can join the speech therapy of my Host Child and spend some time with her at her ABA school. I was already able to learn a lot about how I can better interact and work with my Host Child.
Secondly, I’m very thankful that my Host Family makes all this able and lets me be a part of their family! So I can improve myself and earn new experiences!

Very special was the first meeting with my Host Family. I felt right at home and they have all grown close to my heart like my second family. I also got to know myself better and became much more self-confident. Special for me is all the time I spend with my Host Family.
I will soon be volunteering at my Host Mom’s hospital and registering for a college course in person. Also, I have already finished an interesting college course at Yale University in anatomy.
