Finding the right host family is an important part of the Apex Social program. Unlike other agencies, we do not simply rely on computer-generated recommendations. Instead, your dedicated Matching Specialist will work with you to introduce you to families that are that are compatible with your requirements and preferences. Here’s how it works.
  1. Complete your application
    Once you’ve completed your application, your profile will be made available online in our matching system to families who are looking to hire.

  2. Review Job Postings
    During the application process, you’ll also gain access to reviewing profiles of host families, so you can get a sense of the types of positions available.

  3. Meet Your Matching Specialist
    Once you are ready to interview, you will be introduced to your Matching Specialist in the USA or Australia. You’ll meet via Skype so you can get to know each other and your Matching Specialist can learn about you and your background.

  4. Interview with Host Families
    Your Matching Specialist will introduce you to interested families or families may reach out to you directly to interview. You can schedule a time to meet with the family, typically via video call or telephone. You’ll have access to the family’s profile so you can learn more about them and see their job requirements.

  5. Match with your favorite family
    Our goal is to find you a compatible family. When you have found the perfect family, Apex Social will help you with next steps to prepare for your departure to the USA or Australia!
