One of my most unforgettable travel experiences in the U.S. was exploring Cape Cod. The beaches, small towns, and peaceful ocean views were such a contrast to the hustle and bustle of cities like NYC and Boston. Walking along the shore, discovering little local shops, and just soaking in the calm atmosphere made me appreciate the variety of places I’ve had the chance to visit. Every destination has its own magic, and Cape Cod reminded me that sometimes the simplest moments are the most memorable.

I was able to book myself a travel class to Alaska! It was the most breathtaking and incomparable experience I have ever had. We got to visit so many places while we were there. Alaska’s nature and animals are incredible! The snow is bright, and the mountains are creating a wonderful landscape. We went to a reindeer farm where we got to feed and take pictures with different animals like (obviously) reindeer, highland cows, yaks, alpacas, llamas, and moose. We enjoyed ourselves at a spa and the hot springs. We went for a ride on a dog sled, late at night, we got to see the northern lights, and we visited Santa Claus‘ house at the City of the North Pole. My personal highlight was a glacier hike! It is incredible to see all these different shades of white and blue. The snow and ice are creating a unique and unforgettable view. This trip was worth every cent!

Another amazing trip was a visit to Universal Studios in Orlando, FL. The movie-themed worlds with their roller coasters make you forget the world around you. You can visit Hogwarts, Jurassic Park/ World, the world of Transformers, Fast and the Furious, The Minions, and much more. And outside the park, you get to enjoy the beauty of Florida- Palm trees wherever you go, amazing beaches, and stunning sunsets and sunrises.

As a big American (college) football fan in Germany I got to visit my first college football game for my birthday last year for a rival game (Georgia Bulldogs vs. Alabama crimson tide) in Athens, GA and spend a few days in Atlanta, GA after.

One of my first trips was to New Orleans, followed by a Road Trip to Atlanta with one of my best friends from Germany. In Georgia, we drove to Covington to see the City where one of our favorite shows was filmed.

Kiana - Occupational Therapist

Arlington, VA

One unforgettable travel experience was a trip to Seattle, Washington. We explored the city, went on a small road trip, and visited a stunning national park. The highlight was watching the sunset at La Push Beach, it was absolutely breathtaking and felt straight out of Twilight! I’d definitely recommend this area to anyone who loves a mix of city adventures and incredible natural beauty. But I would say, try to see as much as possible! No matter which trip I’ve taken so far, I’ve always experienced beautiful sights and created unforgettable moments with my friends.
