From April 23–25, 2026, Anaheim, California, will become the center of international occupational therapy: AOTA INSPIRE is the largest and most important professional conference and expo for occupational therapists worldwide. Thousands of OTs, OTAs, students, and educators come together to learn, exchange ideas, and actively help shape the future of occupational therapy.
You can look forward to more than 300 lectures, workshops, and hands-on sessions covering all relevant areas of practice – from evidence-based practice and new intervention approaches to innovations, technologies, and trends that are transforming everyday professional work. In the large expo hall, you can experience the latest products, tools, and services live and engage directly with manufacturers and experts.
A key highlight of AOTA INSPIRE is networking: the conference offers a unique opportunity to connect with colleagues from around the world, share experiences, and build valuable professional relationships across different practice settings.
The program is complemented by special events, inspiring keynotes, and a motivating atmosphere, all set in an attractive location with true Californian flair. In addition, participants can benefit from exclusive discounted tickets to Disneyland, making it easy to combine professional development with an unforgettable experience in Anaheim.
Volunteer opportunities are also available at AOTA INSPIRE 2026. Volunteers can actively support the event on site, gain behind-the-scenes insights, expand their professional network, and increase their visibility within the international OT community. We are especially looking for motivated occupational therapists who would like to support us at our booth, help present our work, and actively contribute to the event.
What participants say:
Anna Francesca Seniov, a care professional based in Connecticut, attended the AOTA Child and Youth OT Special Conference in December 2025 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Based on her experience, she highly recommends AOTA conferences to all care professionals. She particularly valued the practice-oriented structure, flexible session formats, direct exchange with researchers during poster sessions, and the immediate applicability of the content in daily work with children and adolescents. For her, the conference was an excellent opportunity to deepen professional knowledge, build international connections, and grow both professionally and personally.
